Rehat Khurana
Rehat is a counselling psychologist, staunchly dedicated towards creating a compassionate and empathetic space to help her clients navigate through their challenges and facilitate their healing and personal growth. She holds an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. She is a trauma-informed practitioner and largely incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Her approach to therapy involves collaboration between the client and therapist, where she actively engages clients in their own self-exploration and growth process, empowering them to develop insights, make positive changes, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being.
Throughout her professional journey, she has gained invaluable experience in addressing a diverse range of concerns. Her expertise extends to anxiety, substance abuse, childhood trauma, abuse, grief, self-esteem, and body neutrality. She has previously worked with adolescents, young, and older adults. Her passion for counselling psychology is driven by a sincere desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those she serves.
Services I provide include: Individual Counselling (1000 INR per session - duration: 1 hr; sliding scales would be available as well).
